Glen Avon Piccolo 1978-2008, inspired us to fulfil a dream to breed ponies with movement, correct conformation and type. He endeared us with his personality and versatility.

Piccolo was a Welsh Mountain Pony sired by Revel Chelsea Fan (imp) dam Rhyl Pale Moon by Punga Domino (imp) and was the first Welsh Mountain pony to be born at the stud.(Photo Sandy Hannan) He was successful as a ridden stallion (Tanya Langan) as an in-hand exhibit and also won numerous pony trots events as well as a superb driving exhibit at major shows driven by David Toogood and above by Richard Filear.
